Gadget Lab Videoblog Sony’s Alpha A900 Frames Fully Archos 5 Blinds With Screen Beauty

Can a full-frame image sensor finally make 35mm film cameras obsolete? And can a beautiful screen obscure the obvious problems present in a media player/Internet tablet?

In the eleventh episode of the Gadget Lab Videoblog, Daniel Dumas and Jon Snyder review the Sony Alpha A900 DSLR camera and find that its performance, for its price, is justly outstanding. Plus, they go over Jon’s low-light tests that produced somewhat noisy pics (just like the night party’s DJ) but still represent the best type of cam-night vision.

In addition, Dylan Tweney and Jose Fermoso go over the Archos 5 Media Tablet, a beautiful piece of hardware that stops short of great due to its glitchy OS and browser, and a just-OK touch interface.
